Who am I?
My name is Quentin Freycenon, I am 20, and I am currently in my third year at the École Supérieure du Parfum, in Paris.I built this site as a space that looks like me and can grow with me. Part CV, part logbook, part point of contact, it retraces my experience, my discoveries and, little by little, the direction I want to give my career.Perfumery is still a world I am exploring, and that is precisely what I like about it: there is always something to learn, a material to discover, someone to meet or a new way of thinking about fragrance.
My profile
I am curious, eager and thorough. When a subject catches my interest, I like to go further into it, to understand how things work and to learn on my own.I clearly do not yet have the experience of someone who has spent ten years in the industry, and that is only natural. What I do have is the will to learn, to improve and, above all, to make the most of every experience in order to build my own view of perfumery, step by step.My curiosity goes well beyond fragrance. I can be just as taken with nature and flowers as with cars, design, architecture, fashion or philosophy. Worlds that look very different, and that all feed, each in its own way, my sensibility and my creativity.
My ambitions
My aim is a simple one: to understand perfumery in all its variety before deciding exactly what place I would like to hold in it.Creation and laboratory work, raw materials and sourcing, communication, B2B or B2C strategy… I want to discover the different trades this industry is made of, to understand how they answer one another, and to watch the way the sector is changing.For now I would rather stay open than settle too quickly on a single direction. To try things, to meet people, to learn and to understand: that is how I hope to find my own way, and to become a complete professional in a world that fascinates me more and more.
